Morning Dawns

Morning dawns and greets the new day;
may sunshine* illumine our way.
Then meet the divine, 
let love be its sign
and wake to creation at play.

Celebrate the starting anew;
let insight and vision ensue.
So gather to learn 
and wisdom, discern,
embracing the lasting and true.

Can we move from where we have been,
to nurture a new birth within?
Our story is told, its meaning unfolds;
together our work now begins.

* or "sonshine"
